Creating the Perfect Christmas Tablescape

Fairy lights, Christmas trees, the comforting smell of warm cinnamon filling the air - we couldn’t be more excited for Christmas. That’s why here at Honey Bee Home, we’re doing all we can to get you ready for the festive season. 

Setting up your table in a way that best embodies the festive season and adds your personal touch to it couldn’t be any less important. 

We’ve put together some ideas to help get you inspired when decorating your table for Christmas:

Light It Up

Lights, please! Lighting can either make or break your home decor and the same goes for tablescaping. We suggest spreading fairy lights down the middle and dotting some tea lights throughout your table for a complete and well-lit layout. 

Bring The Outdoors In

Campfires and outdoor dining are great, but not as comfortable as bringing the outdoors in. We suggest pairing the lights with some faux leaves or foliage that you’ve foraged from the woods to replicate an outdoor winter evening set-up.

As well as fairy and Tealights, candles are a great way to add lights to your table. They double up as an element of warmth to add a warm, homely feeling to your Christmas decor.
